NA Tire & Lube Shop Management

Overview

NA Tire & Lube ran their shop on COSTAR, an aging desktop system. I built them a modern replacement that follows a job from start to finish: quotation, repair order, invoice and payment, with customers, vehicles and appointments linked throughout.

It also covers parts and tire inventory with stock history, purchase orders and suppliers, a technician time clock, declined work, fleet accounts, warranty comebacks and the reports the owner checks every morning: revenue, hours billed, the shop pipeline and unpaid invoices.

Permissions are enforced in Postgres with row-level security, not just hidden in the UI, so technicians can never reach invoices or purchasing through the API. Numbering carries on from COSTAR, and dates follow the Toronto calendar so evening invoices land on the right day.
